This is the BAY IPTV setup note. If you are not sure which app or login type your device needs, start with our IPTV setup hub for Canada; our apps guide covers the players we can recommend for each TV.
BAY IPTV (also shown as BAY TV Media Player) is a smart-TV and Android player made by BAYDECK. The app shows a MAC address, you register your M3U playlist against that address on the developer’s console, and the TV loads it. The player contains no channels — the developer states that its licence comes “without any content” — and IPTV Canada Neo neither makes nor controls the app. This page covers configuration for a TV that already has the app, and the licence facts the developer publishes.
Before you start
Two caveats. The developer’s main website currently presents an expired security certificate, so we do not link it and you should not enter details there while browsers warn about it; the console at cms.bayip.tv loads normally and is the only developer address in this guide. And we could not confirm the app’s store listings from the developer itself, so this note does not tell you where to download it — if it is not already on your TV, choose a player from the apps guide instead.
Register your playlist on the developer’s console
You need the M3U link from your IPTV Canada Neo welcome email (sent after you choose one of our plans) and the MAC address shown on the app’s start screen.
- Open BAY IPTV on the TV and note the MAC address on its start screen.
- On a phone or computer, open the developer’s console at cms.bayip.tv and go to the playlist section.
- Enter the MAC address, a name for the playlist (anything you like) and your M3U link, then send the form.
- Back on the TV, close and reopen the app. The playlist name you chose should appear, and the channels load from it.
The trial and the app licence
The developer’s packages page states a 7-day free trial once the app is installed, and sells one lifetime licence for the player, priced in Moroccan dirhams (110 MAD when checked). That licence is BAYDECK’s product, covers the player on one TV, and is separate from your IPTV Canada Neo subscription — see our plans and refund policy for ours. The developer’s console is the place to ask about its licence.
If it doesn’t load
- No playlist after registering: re-check the MAC address character by character on the console, re-send, then reopen the app.
- Trial message: the 7 days are up; the licence is bought on the developer’s console with the same MAC address.
- Channels play but freeze: work through our stream performance guide.
- Anything about your line: WhatsApp or the contact page.
FAQ
Does BAY IPTV include channels?
No. On its packages page the developer describes the purchase as a licence for the player “without any content” and says it provides no content or subscription. Your channels come from the M3U playlist you register.
Is the BAY IPTV licence the same as my subscription?
No. The player licence is bought from the app developer, BAYDECK, on its own console; your IPTV Canada Neo subscription is a separate purchase that supplies the playlist. IPTV Canada Neo has no control over the app.
Where do I get the app?
BAY IPTV is a smart-TV and Android player, but the developer’s main site currently has a certificate problem and we could not confirm its store listings from the developer, so this guide does not link a download. If the app is already on your TV, the steps above apply; if not, our apps guide lists players we can point you to.
