What’s included in your IPTV free trial
The trial runs on the same servers our subscribers use — the Regular server for 36 hours or the VIP server for 24 hours — on one device, with one thing left out: adult channels are not part of the trial. Everything else is what paying customers watch. New to IPTV? Our guide What is IPTV? explains how it works before you test it.

Regular or VIP: which free trial should you pick?
You choose the server on the trial form, and it’s one trial per customer, on one server. Regular is what most households need and gives you the longer trial; VIP adds 4K on live channels, a larger library and a built-in VPN, for 24 hours. Pick the one you’re leaning toward for your subscription, and browse the full channels list before you start.

How to get your free trial in 3 steps
Request your trial
Fill in the short form: your email, name, phone, the device you’ll watch on and the app you’ll use. If you use a MAG box or a MAC-based app (Smart IPTV, Net IPTV, Smart STB), add your MAC address. Choose your server: Regular (36-hour trial) or VIP 4K (24-hour trial). There is no payment step and no card field.
Receive your login by email
Your trial details are generated automatically and emailed to you, usually within 5 to 30 minutes. If you don’t see them, check your spam or promotions folder before writing to us.
Install the app and watch
Enter the login in your app, let the channel list load, and your trial begins — 36 hours on Regular, 24 on VIP. Step-by-step instructions for every device are in our setup tutorials.
How to test IPTV properly during your trial
A trial that starts at two in the afternoon and ends 24 hours later is over before the next evening’s game. The 36-hour Regular trial gives you one full prime-time evening and the whole of the next day; the 24-hour VIP trial gives you one evening and the next morning. Here’s how to use either.
- Request the trial in the afternoon or early evening. Your login arrives within 5 to 30 minutes, so you’re watching by prime time. On the 36-hour Regular trial you still have all of tomorrow; on the 24-hour VIP trial, timing it this way puts the whole evening inside your window.
- Watch between 7 and 10 pm Eastern. That’s when Canadian networks are busiest and when a weak service starts to buffer. If it’s smooth on a hockey night, it’s smooth.
- Open your five must-have channels first. Don’t scroll through 30,000 channels; go straight to the ones you’d cancel cable over, and check the program guide against what’s actually on.
- Try catch-up and the on-demand library. Pick a show you missed this week and a recent movie.
- Test on the screen you’ll use most. The trial covers one device, so make it your main TV rather than a phone.
- Compare Wi-Fi and Ethernet if you can. A cable to the TV or box removes most stutter; on Wi-Fi, use the 5 GHz band.
- Notice channel-switching speed and picture quality. Both should feel like cable or better.
By the end of your trial you’ll know three things: whether your channels are there, whether it’s stable at peak hours, and whether it works on your device. That’s the whole decision.
Free trial vs paid subscription: what’s the same, what changes
The trial is not a demo stream. It’s the real service on the server you pick, with three differences: how long it lasts, how many devices it covers, and adult channels.
If you subscribe after testing, you keep the same account — we activate it on the plan you choose, so nothing needs to be reinstalled.

Sports during your trial: test it on a game night
Sports is where IPTV services are separated. The sports channels in our lineup — TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet, RDS, RDS2 and TVA Sports — carry the hockey, football, soccer and basketball that Canadian networks broadcast, in English and in French. Request your trial on a day with a game and watch it live between 7 and 10 pm.
One thing to be clear about: we carry exactly what those channels broadcast, nothing more and nothing less. The rights belong to the networks, so if a game is on one of them, you’ll see it as you would on cable.
Viewers in Ontario can follow the game-night test checklist in our IPTV in Ontario guide — Leafs, Raptors, Blue Jays and Senators networks included.
Bell, Rogers, Telus, Vidéotron, Cogeco — and when a VPN helps
IPTV runs over whatever internet connection you already have. You don’t change provider, and there’s nothing to add to your modem. As a rule of thumb we use about 15 Mb/s for HD and 25 Mb/s for 4K, per screen; almost every home plan in Canada is well above that.
If your trial buffers only in the evening, treat the timing as a clue, not a verdict: busy household Wi-Fi is the most common cause, so try a wired connection or the 5 GHz band first. A VPN is worth testing only when a network or IP-level restriction appears to be involved; the VIP server has one built in, and on the Regular server you can test a VPN app on your device. Test on the connection you’ll use every day — that’s what the trial is for. Our buffering guide walks through the causes in order.
What happens when the trial ends
The trial stops on its own. There’s no card on file, so nothing is charged and there’s nothing to cancel.
If you’d like to keep watching, choose a plan — from $19.99 USD, 1 to 24 months, 1 to 4 devices, on the Regular or VIP server — and we activate the same account you tested with. Your app, your login and your settings stay exactly as they are. Paid plans come with a 7-day refund window, so the decision is never rushed.

IPTV free trial FAQ
Is the IPTV free trial really free?
Yes. There’s no payment step and no card field on the form. The Regular-server trial lasts 36 hours and the VIP trial 24 hours; both end on their own.
How long does the free trial last?
It depends on the server you choose: 36 hours on the Regular server, 24 hours on the VIP 4K server, counted from activation. You pick one server per trial.
Can I get a 36-hour free trial of IPTV?
Yes. IPTV Canada Neo gives you a 36-hour free trial on the Regular server, or a 24-hour free trial on the VIP 4K server — you choose one on the trial form. Both run on one device, need no credit card, exclude adult channels, and are limited to one trial per customer. Your login is emailed automatically, usually within 5 to 30 minutes.
How quickly will I receive my trial login?
It’s generated and emailed automatically, usually within 5 to 30 minutes of your request. If nothing has arrived after 30 minutes, check your spam and promotions folders, then contact us with the email address you used.
Should I choose the Regular or the VIP server for my trial?
Regular for everyday viewing: 30,000+ live channels and 160,000+ movies and series in HD and Full HD, 4K where the source allows. VIP if you want 4K on live channels, 45,000+ channels, 300,000+ titles and a built-in VPN. The Regular trial lasts 36 hours, the VIP trial 24 hours, and you pick one server on the form.
How many devices can I use during the trial?
One. Install the app on the device you’ll watch on most. Paid plans cover up to 4 devices at the same time on the Regular server and up to 3 on VIP.
Is everything from a paid plan included in the trial?
Nearly. You get the same live channels, library and picture quality as the server you choose, on one device. Adult channels are not part of the trial; on paid plans they’re an optional add-on.
Can I watch sports and hockey during the trial?
Yes. The sports channels in our lineup — TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet, RDS, RDS2 and TVA Sports — are included. We suggest requesting the trial on a game day and watching live in the evening, when a weak service would show its limits.
Which devices and apps work with the trial?
Fire TV Stick, Samsung and LG smart TVs, Android TV and boxes, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, Windows and Mac, and Formuler, MAG and Enigma boxes, with apps such as IPTV Smarters, TiviMate, ibo Pro Player, GSE and MyTVOnline. Our device and player compatibility table shows which player each developer documents for your device, and our setup tutorials walk through the installation.
Do I need a VPN on Bell, Rogers, Telus or Vidéotron?
Usually not. If video buffers only in the evening, busy household Wi-Fi is the most common cause, so test a wired connection or the 5 GHz band first. A VPN is worth testing only when a network or IP-level restriction appears to be involved: the VIP server has one built in, and on the Regular server you can test a VPN app on your device.
What happens when the trial ends?
It stops. Nothing is charged, and there’s nothing to cancel. If you subscribe, we activate the same login on your plan.
If I subscribe after the trial, do I need a new account?
No. Your trial account is continued and activated on the plan you choose, so you don’t reinstall or reconfigure anything.
Can I get a second free trial?
No — one free trial per customer, on one server. If the trial wasn’t enough to decide, the 7-day refund window on paid plans covers you.
Are your prices in Canadian dollars?
No. Plans are priced in US dollars, from $19.99 USD; our parent company is based in the United States and bills in that currency. The trial itself costs nothing.
Is IPTV legal in Canada?
IPTV is a delivery technology; under Canadian copyright law what matters is whether the content being streamed is authorized by the rights holders. Our guide Is IPTV legal in Canada? explains what the law and the courts actually say, and our legal disclaimer sets out our position.
Do you offer the trial in French?
Yes. Our Québec page explains the service and the trial in French, and our support team answers in French.
